On July 1, 2013, Google Reader will be laid to rest. Alas, I was just getting to know it well–While attempting to create an RSS habit, I subscribed to:

These rss feeds worked for two communications classes: Intro to Multimedia Production and News Writing.
Now Google believes that not enough people use their reader service and they are shutting it down.
It looks like we will be “digging” it in the future.
According to Digg’s Blog at http://blog.digg.com/post/45355701332/were-building-a-reader, Digg will be offering a new reader–an updated version of the Google reader.
And so we press on.
